Were certainly not going to control it certainly but we might be able to predict it.
I am more irritated about the number of hazards and warnings I get told about daily. I went to a college that had lots of safety rules. My company has posters everywhere telling me (a programmer) how I need to worry about safety. My favorite ones are the safety warnings about machining that are randomly put on the accounting floor. It seems that every day a study comes out warning me about yet another hazard.

I certainly won’t deny that some studies use ridiculous fear claims to justify themselves and get grant money. Others however will tell you where and how to build and assess possible hazards. Prediction is the ring to grab for as it’s what will save lives.
