Well, that answers that question. You’re not bothered that innocent people were killed when soldiers chose to obey an immoral order. You’re trying to distract from that order.

Well, I suppose a good German had to do the same thing. It couldn’t be *their* sons executing innocent people.

Obama wasn’t in the cockpit. Every man is accountable for his own sins. Obama is accountable for his, and the men in the cockpit now have to live with the knowledge that they deliberately bombed a hospital.

Regrettably, that’s knowledge they wouldn’t have to live with had they “dishonorably” refused an order to bomb innocents.

Newsflash: no dictator has ever been able to order others to the innocent without individuals willing to cast off personal responsibility for the murders they commit.

“Just following orders” hasn’t been a viable excuse for a long time.

So, by your statement, you are against the dropping of the A-bomb?

I think your selective sense of outrage is visible for all to see.

Off course President Obama is off the hook— although even your feeble effort to invoke the Nazis must necessarily cast him as Hitler.

This Islamic supremacism that dominates the region destroys hospitals, schools, homes, and systemically rapes small boys.

That gets a largely free pass while we carefully examine the decision making of American military personnel trying to stop this genocidal process.

I think the personnel may have made the wrong decision but I am not going to pretend that it deserves to be the moral focal point you seek to make it.

I am well aware of the scope and purposes of Evil in Afghanistan.

You’re little rhetorical dust cloud has not obscured that for one moment.

There are millions of individuals making decisions in Afghanistan alone. Their decisions are relatively strong compared to the options available there.

I will keep pressing you in the direction of reality that is human relations in Afghanistan. there is a reasonably good chance the hospital was basing genocidal activities by Islamic supremacists. It also could be a mistake and a part of war that people pretend is preventable when it is not.
