They teach this crap in cop school. Controlling the scene through intimidation. It's also why they scream foul language at families and threaten the children while ty-wrapped with their hands behind their backs, laying face down on the floor.
Shooting dogs is just to remind us that we should be thankful they didn't shoot us. If they shoot my dog they had better not need those eight shots on the dog. They will need a few more.

It's also why they scream foul language at families and threaten the children while ty-wrapped with their hands behind their backs, laying face down on the floor.This is why when I read about cops getting shot in the face, I don't really care about the "leaves behind a grieving pregnant wife, a son, age 3 and daughter age 5" part that is always in the narrative. They are trained to be pit bulls. They don't have to be in that profession, they chose it.
