A former Milwaukee Bucks cheerleader has filed a federal lawsuit accusing the NBA team of failing to pay her at least a minimum wage or overtime for her work. Lauren Herington, 22, was paid a flat rate of $65 for games, $30 for practice, and $50 for a special appearance. But her demanding schedule - which required up to 20 hours a week in the gym, 10 hours' practice a week, self-funded tanning sessions, and two-and-a-half hours' preparation before games - meant she would routinely earn as little as $3 an hour, less than half the $7.25 minimum wage.

......there are many attractive girls that would do this for free in order to meet a rich guy and marry him.
That said, it’s ludicrous for these organizations in the NBA, owned by billionaires, and paying room temp ball players millions, to not pay these girls a respectable amount of money.
If for no other reason, in a business where public relations is King, it’s bad business!
Ever talk to the “Dance Team”? They are all Law School students. Even “Man Hater” Wendy Murphy was a Patriots cheerleader.
That, and the chance to meet wealthy men both at the game and at various other events.
Most would likely do it for free.
She isn’t pretty and doesn’t have big hoots. The pickings must have been pretty darn slim for that thing to make the squad.

There are girls that would quite literally kill to be on these teams and work for expenses only!
I just think it is “stoopid” business for these multi billionaires to pay these girls that are out front representing their brand essentially NOTHING!
I read the title as “buck toothed” Cheerleader. This picture confirms there is a mistake in the title and my mind corrected it.
