Isn’t that a non-sequitur? If one were truly ‘god-fearing’, one would not be homosexual.

He calls himself "god-fearing" but doesn't say which god.

Perhaps he is thinking of one of the Greek gods, like Zeus who abducted Ganymede to be his catamite. Or perhaps some other pagan religion had a poofter-deity.
