answer: he blowed up real good.
Vid plays him talking, starts to turn his head to the right apparently hearing something, sudden whoosh and fiery explosion where his head disappears, then camera drops to ground to move no more while some manner of high-pitched keening keeps repeating for the last several seconds of the vid.
Guy is standing in a ditch (?) explaining something to the camera.
There’s an “incoming whoosh” for a split second.
He begins to react.
AFAIK it impacts just behind him.
Frame-by-frame of whats next is posted above; bright flash and flurry and him taking on an indistinct shape.
Camera is impacted, apparently coming to rest under the now-motionless operator (or, perhaps, some of our video’s star).
