He could be a syphilitic child-molesting axe murderer who sacrifices puppies to Satan while he's clubbing baby harp seals to skin for the upholstery in a Thai boy brothel, but a REPUBLICAN? Is this what Rush was referring to - cryptically - on Friday’s show? I was thinking the personality was George Clooney. Given Sheen’s lifestyle, he’s a more likely candidate.
What does this idiot expect though? He’s screwing every hooker skank in town for years while doing drugs, not the best plan if you want to live a long life. Now he’s going to have to do mountains of AIDS drugs for the rest of his life, 25 separate drugs every single day from what I once read which is absolutely insane.

An old timer here although not as senior as either of you. These postings give me a short, but I think valuable, break from what is the normal FR thrust. What’s going on around us has become so mind numbingly horrible, these type posts help me keep my sanity.

When the tabloids and gossip sites were claiming that a Hollywood star with a fondness for porn stars was HIV positive, the first name that popped in my mind was Charlie Sheen. Can’t imagine why.
The irony, of course, is that Sheen will get publicity—and even sympathy—out of this, and he’s rich enough to afford the drug cocktail that will keep his illness in check. And of course, the LA County prosecutor won’t even think about charging Sheen for having unprotected sex with all those..um..partners after learning he had HIV.
I am by no means an expert, but I think the pills have been reduced over the year and SUPPOSEDLY they have one drug that might be able to control AIDS with just one pill. Who knows. I hope never to find out. In fact, I never will find out come to think about it. lol.
