President Obama is a big sports fan, so when he sat down to do an interview with GQ recently, it was no surprise that he compared himself to a famous athlete.
What was surprising though is that the lifelong Bears fan compared himself to someone who plays for the team the everyone in Chicago hates: The Green Bay Packers.
During the interview, Obama said that when it comes to running the country, he's like "Aaron Rodgers in the pocket."
"In the sense of you can't be distracted by what's around you, you've got to be looking downfield," Obama said. "And I think that's a quality that I have -- not getting flustered in what's around me."
Rodgers heard about the comments on Wednesday and he was definitely flattered by them, especially because they came from the Bears' most famous fan.

More like Ryan Leaf.
the year the Chargers went 1-15 their only win (Chiefs game I attended) was due to a totally incorrect penalty against the Chiefs.
Yeah, he’s the Ryan Leaf of Presidents.

I doubt very much that Obama is interested in football. I’m surprised he even knows who Aaron Rodgers is.
