Apple wins Digital Rights Management patent infringement suit against a non-practicing entity (read Patent Troll) patent holding company in the East Texas Rocket Docket. The jury found Apple, like google and Samsung before them, did not infringe the five patents when selling and distributing iTunes, movies, iBooks, and other digital contents from Apple's iTunes stores. -- PING! Pinging dayglored, ThunderSleeps; and Shadow Ace for their ping lists as this impacts their users as well.

Perhaps only mildly interesting to Android users. However it is good news that ContentGuard was defeated, again. Apparently they are just a patent/lawyer house looking to sponge money off the industry. - ANDROID PING!

This is good news, however I despise the patent troll process. This would be a great area for loser pays.
