Yeah - the average life expectancy for his breed is 10-12 years so he’s definitely well into his golden years...which is all the more amazing as he was heartworm positive and malnourished when I rescued him back in 2005. The vets didn’t think he would survive the heartworm treatment, but he soldiered through it.
