Jill asked the 9 year-old pup’s owner why he was leaving him behind. He said that “he’s not as active as he used to be.” No one knows what this lovable boy’s name really is because his owner left before Jill could get it.

The shelter has renamed him Tyson and his story is already on its way to a happy ending.

After only two days, and thousands of Facebook views, Tyson was taken in by a foster family. After getting him to the vet, they discovered that the Dobie has a spinal condition and will need extensive medical care.

So the owner gave up the dog because it needed extensive EXPENSIVE medical care.. This is a dilemma for any owner without the funds necessary to fix the problem, but starting a 'Go Fund Me' page is a good start. I think the "not active as he used to be" comment was a ruse.

“not as active as he used to be”? Apparently he - or she - wasn’t embarrassed to admit it.
I hope no other animals are in this person’s future.
