This policy won’t sway Trump’s dedicated supporters; it is designed to turn away other potential supporters down the road (by marginalizing him as an anti-Muslim, anti-Mexican bigot).

Trump only has himself to blame for that by the clumsy way in which he shoots off his mouth. Don't whine and blame it on others. Trump may be great on some things because he is honest and blunt but there are also political consequences to pay for such a style. You can't have it both ways.

I agree that Trump is to blame; he has to be very careful about the position in which he puts his supporters (and I said that earlier).
