So, has the author not heard of Android?
Android is so wide open it brings a world of hurt to the enterprise. Windows has its own hurt, but its the hurt the companies know.
I'm a little surprised that Apple never added multi user log-in to iOS, as a way to separate work and personal. Apple's walled-garden approach to apps, on the other hand, is appreciated by businesses.

My point wasn’t specific to the enterprise, but that iOS comprises less than 25% of the tablrpet market, and declining. Three Android tablets are sold for each Apple and ten for every Windows tab.
