I am gross and perverted
obsessed and deranged
I have existed for years
but very little has changed
I’m the tool of the Government
and industry too
for I am destined to rule
and regulate you
I may be vile an perniscious
but you can’t look away
for I make you think I’m delicious
with the stuff that I say
I’m the best you can get
have you guessed me yet
I’m the slime oozing out of your TV set
You will obey me while I lead you
eat the garbabe that I feed you
Until the day that we don’t need you
don’t go for help no one will heed you
your mind has been totally controlled
it has been stuffed into my mould
and you will do as you are told
until the rights to you are sold
that’s right folks don’t touch that dial
I am the slime on the video
oozing along on living room floor
I am the slime on the video
can’t stop me now people look at me go
I am the slime on the video
oozing along on living room floor
I am the slime on the video
can’t stop me now people look at me go

I’ll take a drive to Beverly Hills
Just before dawn
And knock the little jockeys
Off the rich people’s lawns
And before they wake up
I’ll be gone.

“Brown shoes don’t make it.”
“Watermelon in Easter Hay” remains one of the best guitar instrumentals ever composed. Easily the equal of “Diamond Head” by Phil Manzanara.

Watermelon is Easter Hay - I can’t tell you how many times I listened to that in solitude. Great great song. Better the SRVs Leni imho.

Love Frank. He used to play Halloweens in NYC.
I was dubious, but go see Dweezil do Zappa plays Zappa. Great show.
The crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe.

Caught Zappa plays Zappa about 4 years ago. Weather Report opened with Jean Luc Ponty and Stanly Clark. What a treat. JLP joined Dweezil for 50/50 and one or two others.
