Someone let out the (spelling?) Hikkiomori.

Densha OtokoI saw that and enjoyed it.
During my career in the Navy, I spent four Christmases overseas, three in Italy and one in France. A French family hosted 6 of us for the weekend. Very gracious hosts. Fwiw, they were Jewish.

What’s the English word for American slackers that live at home and their support system is a Xbox? Democrats? Liberals ? Generation Z?

They are. I know plenty of people who are not attached to having nice stuff or having a lot of money, but they are genuinely happy for the people who have it and do like it.
I remember hearing someone on TV rail against highend sports cars, Lamborghinis and Ferraris, etc. I'll never be able to afford one, and wouldn't buy one if I could. But, the fact that SOMEONE spent his money on such, means that the rest of us can appreciate and admire such a thing. In the world of electronics, the first generation of people who knew they were overpaying for $3000 LED TVs paved the way for better LED TVs for the rest of us that cost $600 or less.

Your point about early adopters paving the way for better products for the rest of us also applies to the high-end cars; all of the technology advances that make cars safer, more durable and more efficient are implemented at the top end first.

With attitudes like that, no wonder they are without women.
They need to look within for the problem, not blame-shift and look without.

I had “relations” with a Philipino chick and she didn’t have anything nice to say about Philipino men either. Of course, she had even less to say about a certain other ethnicity.

Her 50s outfit is cute. Retro is a thing, not just in Japan. There's this whole DoWop-revival culture here in the States. Classic car shows are a great place to meet hot chicks in poodle skirts and tight sweaters.

Visited that area last year. Many, many young women walking around alone or in pairs. Very few man-woman couples. Strange place, strange people.

Yeah, but it’s Japan and the feminist habit of dumping the husband with the kids and taking off with a new love interest is far more prevalent than it is in taking he US (yet) so the Otaku route is safer both emotionally and financially. Japan has had no fault divorce (the culprit) longer than we have.

I think these guys took their Valentine’s Day protest notes and tried to apply them verbatim to Christmas.

I think this pretty well epitomizes the divide in much of the world now:
Which will you be - fishers of men, or losers with women?
