The scrooges -- mostly single men -- said they were against capitalism and were opposed to the commercialisation of Christmas.

I guess Japan has way fewer lefty chicks who swoon at the antics of commie-wannabes than we do over here! Half the guys who marched in 60s and 70s protests were there because they knew the undeniable truth that lib chicks are easy.
