Well folks...Every year it is the same. Just when we finally have some time off and can spend some quality time with our favorite talk radio personalities, we suddenly are faced with what I call the annual talk radio desert. They take time off and abandon us. I imagine them out having fun and living fabulous lives while we are left here without commentary for many days.
If Mark Steyn could guest host every show between now and January 4th, then it would be a yearly highlight. But alas he is only available for so much, and the rest of the time is filled with re-runs, Christmas music, or the dreaded annual year end review shows. The worst!
Maybe this year I'll do something different and spend some time with the other humans who live in my house. But all Freepers feel free to post any information here on any Mark Steyn guest host that you may know of...you might just save me from a very long game on Monopoly.
It will bridge the gap until talk show goodness returns.

I get all the commentary I need right here on FR. I don’t need a talk show host to verify what I think. I love listening to Rush and other hosts but I can take a week without them...

I agree that it is annoying that all the hosts are away. Since there is so little going on, I’d almost prefer reruns of highlights I may have missed during the year to substitute hosts.
But we’ll all be back at work soon enough in January, wondering how Christmas and New Year’s went by so quickly!
FYI - this post has a video (published Dec 12) warning that FCC will be voting to let foreign countries like China and Saudi Arabia buy our radio/TV stations.
