Reducing “teen pregnancy” should not be a goal. The goal should be to promote monogamous, lifelong matrimony as the best situation in which to have and raise children.

FYI, Christ’s birth was almost certainly to a teen mom.

Merry Christmas.

Excellent point.

However, most people are not in a position to be responsible, married parents before age 20 or older. This is a cultural situation rather than an immutable rule, but better outcomes generally occur with somewhat older parents.

My first son was a “teen pregnancy” because I had him when I was 19. However, I was married at 18 and we actually made the decision together to start trying for a baby, after we were married of course.. That baby is now 24. Been married almost 26 years and have a 20 yr old and 15 yr old.

Your absolutely right. Monogamy should be the goal. It certainly doesn’t make me feel better that the search for abortion went up during these shows. I hope that’s not the reason for the decline in births but I bet it certainly plays a part.

They could use Bristol Palin as their spokesperson.

My daughter-in-law “let” her younger sister go with her when she delivered her last child.
Talk about being scared straight! grin. It worked!
