Sarah Palin slams Dakota Meyer after he asks for joint custody
Daily Mail ^

Sarah Palin is slamming daughter Bristol's former fiance after he filed court papers involving the couple's daughter Sailor. Dakota Meyer filed papers seeking joint legal and physical custody of Sailor Grace, who was born on December 23 in Alaska.

In the court documents filed by Meyer which were obtained by TMZ he is also asking for one other thing from Bristol - child support. Sarah responded by telling Entertainment Tonight in a statement; 'For many months we have been trying to reach out to Dakota Myers [sic] and he has wanted nothing to do with either Bristol's pregnancy or the baby.'

She then said that Meyer is just trying to 'save face'. Bristol's rep also released a statement, saying: 'My values are such that a real American hero doesn't ask for child support.'

Agreed completely, but for him to ask for her to give him money is just not what a man should do IMHO. She has the money to raise that little girl on her own if she chooses to, why is there a need for either one of them to sponge off the other?

Sarah did NOT go on Entertainment Tonight.

They called/emailed her for a statement

She gave them one.

My family, myself included, would say the words, “No comment.”. It doesn’t all have to be made a public spectacle. This whole thing has become a PR nightmare. As others have pointed out, if this were someone without the last name “Palin”, it would be rolled up as standard trailer trash stuff.

And what is up with the crazy names they give their kids? Would you want to be a 50-yr old named Tripp, or Trigg, or Sailor?

Don't forget Bristol, Piper, Track and Willow.

For those who make fun of the parents of the Trayvon, Jermajesty, Laqueesha and Shaniquas of this world, don't forget the stupid Palin names.

Bingo. When the media wants drama, rise above it. “No comment.” Until they go away and leave you alone.

Sooner or later that girl will be nicknamed after a certain anime character.

Also, “Sailor” will be easily searchable. Something like “Emily” or “Natalie” would have given the kid more anonymity.

You think I made that up? Jermaine Jackson named his kid that. Not kidding!

I agree with your point. According to an article on a Marines news page, quoting his attorney, there is no request for child support at this time, but he has asked that she be listed as his dependent for tax purposes - that’s a bit different. Of course, who knows where the truth is, I suppose it will become clear. People’s characters are proved over time.

Isn’t it obvious? Sarah Palin has been doing this for years. She went after Levi what-his-name on social media, and now is going after Baby Daddy number 2.

Imagine that. A former Vice Presidential Candidate getting in public pissing matches with a couple of baby Daddy’s. And some people here still think she would have made a good President. She shows the judgement of a bag of hammers.

Well its not every day a failed candidate for the second highest elected position in the land gets in a public pissing match with her daughters Baby Daddy.

He didn’t do much by MOH standards.

Remember this is Obama and his creatures that awarded him the MOH.

Kind of like Jesse Haines being in the baseball HOF.

Asking for child support does lower him in my eyes.

They should both be responsible for the child’s support, but he shouldn’t be claiming child support for joint custody. Why should she have to pay him.

If his book is accurate, sounded like he was a true hero. Just not much of a husband and father.
