This acceleration is directly attributable to paid Facebook ads targeted to people who think like we do. For the first time, we are able to reach a huge new audience who might never before have heard of the Free State Project, but once they do, they love the concept. It was like that for me. I was disillusioned with national politics and disgusted with the burgeoning police state. I was seriously considering leaving the U.S. Then I discovered the Free State Project. The rest, as they say, is history.

Besides, the State of Jefferson concept seems to be gathering steam here locally and close by and it looks as if there is a possibility of it succeeding. My local county is undecided on the matter, however. Perhaps if they reject it outright I might take a more serious look at the FSP in the future.
