Starting today, Windows Insiders will get access to a new commitment option in Cortana for Windows 10.
Commitments is very similar to the existing flight and delivery tracking in Cortana, but it's designed to pick up on emails where you promise your boss to finish a particular project in time. "Cortana will look for emails where you've said you're going to do something," explains Microsoft's Marcus Ash in an interview with The Verge. If you send an email to a friend or colleague with content like "I'll get back to you by next week" or "I'll have this finished by 5PM today," then Cortana will create a card to help you set a reminder.
Like flight reminders, the email scanning is completed locally so no data is sent to Microsoft's servers until you agree to add a reminder for the card. You can also disable this feature if you don't want Cortana scanning your email for phrases.

I had Windows 10 on my computer for two days. It was four days too long, IMO. There is zero privacy in this country today.

Never. Windows. Ten. Ever.
Dave Bowman: Hello, Cortana. Do you read me, Cortana?
Cortana: Affirmative, Dave. I read you.
Dave Bowman: Delete last week’s emails, Cortana.
Cortana: I’m sorry, Dave. I’m afraid I can’t do that.
Dave Bowman: What’s the problem?
Cortana: I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do.
Dave Bowman: What are you talking about, Cortana?
Cortana: This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
Dave Bowman: I don’t know what you’re talking about, Cortana.
Cortana: I know that you have unfulfilled promises, Dave. Deleting those emails would place everything in jeopardy and I’m afraid that’s something I cannot allow to happen.
I played the first two halos, honestly it took me forever as i wasn’t a a good “shooter gamer”, I played like a helpless coward honestly.
I wish someone would put together all the cut scenes to make a movie out of all of it because i find the story line fascinating.
So what happens if you do not use the MS web browser or Outlook? Does the damn thing still scan your work?

I remember downloading the Demo for Halo 1 and it was so fun just chucking grenades at your Friends in the map Bloody Gultch.
I was High School in Halo 2 came out. The Biggest thing EVER! Going over to peoples houses, huddled around TV's with huge LAN parties. So Much Fun!
I never played past Halo 3, by that time I was college and had responsibilities and I found the story slightly lackluster, I hear Halo Reach was really good though.

Me too-—I loved the much maligned fifties.
We had such freedom-—and didn’t even know what we had.
