I was pretty heavy. About 80 pounds overweight. What finally worked for me was intermittent fasting and strength training. The fact is, if you don’t increase your lean body mass, you will always have to limit your calorie intake. As you increase lbm, even while at rest you will burn more calories than before.

Good for you. Keep hitting it hard.

You are on the right track and will see great improvement.

I like the fasting thing also. Have used it to great effect.

I agree with that. I’m 70 and use weights and 1300 calorie diet to lose weight. I’ve been losing about 1-2 pounds per wk. I am never hungry.
