What does that mean? Revisionism has crept into both. After all, look who has been running government, education and military recently. I’ve never heard D-Day referred to as an “invasion” until recently; it was always the “landing”.

Orwell’s “Who controls the past controls the future” was paraphrased from the Communist Manifesto, remember.

Eisenhower called it a Crusade. Everyone else called it an Invasion. You are the one that’s trying to re-write history to fit your agenda.

Contemporary press called it an invasion. (And the Jewish owned New York Times was very much anti-Hitler).
