South Carolina Post Debate Poll: Trump 35%, Rubio 18%, Ted Cruz 18%

The latest post-debate poll from South Carolina, conducted by PPPolling, shows Ted Cruz slipping backward to catch Marco Rubio; and a candidate field, behind Trump, mired in the mud.

Put another way - The same inept politicians who ran for three election cycles promising change, yet did nothing except make things worse, are now standing next to even more inept presidential candidates and touting them as the solution for their own ineptitude.

The political gaslighting is no longer effective against an engaged electorate.

Let's think about this. To combat their stuck in the mud problem - Jeb Bush calls Lindsey Graham and his brother George W Bush. Marco Rubio calls Trey Gowdy and Tim Scott, while Ted Cruz prays at Bob Jones University.

You just can't make this stuff up.

....Meanwhile:

Keeps on Truckin' !!

This is beginning to look a lot like New Hampshire. It's not a matter of whether Trump wins but how much he wins by.

Meanwhile, the Democrats get an extra week before they vote. Will be interesting.

I love Trump, but I’m afraid someone is going to change his slogan to: ‘Make America Grate again’

Yes, if Bernie wins Nevada on the 23rd, he’ll have even more momentum on Shrillary for the 27th in SC. Not that I’m rooting for Bernie in any way other than to totally embarrass Shrillary.

I think that’s the slogan he’s been using since he start.

Oh great. A whole week of Hillary speaking in her down home southern accent at all the black churches in South Carolina. It’ll be patronizing and pandering for black votes at its worst.

PPP had Trump at 29% in their final NH poll. Actual result: 35%, and 19.5% over second place Kasich.

Poll: Trump Leads GOP Field By 14 Points In New Hampshire

Will 35% prove to be under polling for Trump in SC?

Another Link for #12

First N.H. poll after Iowa caucus doesn't look pretty for Christie

CNN/WMUR poll also showing Trump at 29% in their final NH poll. Hard to be sure I had the final PPP poll in #12.

Since this is the poll topping Drudge, might want to consider switching to original sourcing: http://www.thestate.com/news/politics-government/politics-columns-blogs/the-buzz/article60547281.html and then moving it to Breaking.

From the article:

"Public Policy interviewed 897 likely GOP primary voters Sunday and Monday - the first look at how after Saturday night's Republican presidential debate affected the race. The poll has a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points.

The GOP poll suggests Trump's debate performance -in which he criticized former President George W. Bush for the 2001 terror attacks -may not be hurting the frontrunner in a state that has deep ties to the Bush family.

The poll also suggests Rubio could be closing the gap on Cruz, who has finished second to Trump in seven out of the eight S.C. polls taken in 2016."
