Trump rests on one issue: immigration. He’s now against it and claims he will deport 11M people. This will never happen - our army isn’t big enough given all other obligations. In all other respects, he’s just another big gov’t liberal. Every other candidate in the race is more conservative, and would be a much better POTUS. Do you really want Trump picking the next few Supreme Court Justices? God help this country if it turns out to be a Trump vs Clinton or Sanders race.

Trump believes he can deport people without due process. Not being bound by the law should make it easier. He’s Trump. Whatever he believes should BE law. /s

Deporting illegals can be done, without the army. All it takes is to enforce immigration laws on the books, along with laws concerning Social Services. No job, no assistance, no place to live, no social services help and most will leave. The criminal element can be dealt with as they are encountered.
One doesn’t use the army to deport anyone.
One enforces the existing laws, strengthen ice, force employers to follow the law, end sanctuary cities, transfer immigrants convicted of crimes to a more remote detention facility, cut off “the bird feeders” aka benefits, voting rights, and rights to buy and rent property and secure the borders.
In addition I would tax the heck out of money transfers out of the country, crack down on NAFTA, and hire new officials to handle the outflow as illegal streamed out.
After enacting all of that, we could consider rounding up the illegals
