I was responding (as you well know) to another FReeper’s “cherry pick” from the article.

If you are unaware of Trump’s political past, of his recent support for the Clintons, his support for the Democratic Party leadership that gave us Obamacare and other Leftist’ causes, you don’t want to know - you can’t handle the truth.

I know. We both read it.

That’s why I asked you about it. It says they didn’t discuss Trump running for President.

You asked this: Why would Bill Clinton tell that to Donald Trump, knowing that his wife would be running for the nomination under the Democratic Party banner and against the GOP nominee?

Were you not implying that Trump would be the GOP nominee ? If not, what would Trump ‘taking a prominent’ role within the Republican Party mean ?

Trump initiated this years ago. Why do you think he bought The Old Post Office just down the street from the capital and is in the process of refurbishing it?

It's part of his campaign!

The building is an in-your-face expression: "see what I can do for America"

I wouldn’t call myself a “fan,” actually. He annoys me most of the time. But he’s the most conservative one who is electable. “Conservative” in the things i care about and see as crucial to saving this country (border security, isis, economy, 2a). The social conservative things are not that important to me because i’m more libertarian-minded in that. So don’t call me a “fan,” please. I see the situation as being drastic enough to require drastic measures, such as sending an obnoxious bulldog to DC to flush out more RINOs from the proverbial closets so the voters can clean house.

As for my previous question, i don’t think you answered it. Are you going to be able to vote for him in November if he’s the nominee?

And at what point are you going to stop posting anti-Trump articles?

Wow, that’s beautiful. I had your same thought today when i saw a clip of him reminding the guy on TV about this renovation. It suddenly dawned on me that he’s known this was coming, and that’s why he bought it in the FIRST place!

And here i was thinking i was smarter than everyone else. lol.

If one is not a liberal, and not a conservative, what is the label used to describe that person ?

Don’t bother. CW is a moron living in an alternative world surrounded by school teachers in the teachers lounge.

Focus, CW, focus.

I simply pointed out that the subject matter within clinton and Trump’s discussion does nothing to support your claim that Trump has a leftist ideology.

Trump was also probably aware that Reagan had a multi-year tv gig with GE prior to entering politics. The gig certainly helped Reagan’s visibity and brand-awareness with his voters.

I think Carter’s in better shape than Bill.

A lot of the liberals have white guy derangement syndrome.

Here is Trump, rich white guy, doesn’t apologize for anything. They can’t believe this guy exists that he’s not checking his privilege at the door when he attacks all these people and countries.

So when he doesn’t act politically correct they think it so out of mainstream voters thoughts that he is unelectable.

TPA and TPP suggest to me that Cruz is fairly tainted by free trade and low sincerity on immigration. Session’s turning from Cruz says the same thing. After his campaign started I heard Cruz extol H1B and support illegals being decided after the border is secure. His lack of transparency about his Canadian citizenship is also troubling.

I don’t see him as some kind of pure alternative.

I was responding (as you well know) to another FReeper’s “cherry pick” from the article.

I don't see how taking a critical fact (that was repeated at least twice in the article) to use in debating whether Clinton told Trump to get involved in the Republican Party, and further to run for President as a Republican, 'cherry-picking'.

According to the Clinton 'allies' and Trump 'aide' (who for reasons of anonymity and because they were not authorized to discuss... blah blah blah... are not identified) Bill didn't talk about Trump running for President.
