Too weird.
Heart attack? Spontaneous death due to global warming?

“German adventurer who was found dead drifting on his abandoned yacht”
How could the yacht be abandoned it he was still on board?
To: PROCON
Manfred technically did not abandon his yacht, per se. ;-)

I don't always leave my mummified body drifting at sea.
But when I do, it's in a nice yacht.

If you predicted his future to him - you will die peacefully on your yacht while sailing the world, he would probably be very happy to hear it.

Seems like with decomposition, his last communication and his last port, they could determine approximately how long he has been dead.

The note to the deceased wife that Manfred wrote makes me think this may have been suicide.

German adventurer who was found dead drifting on his abandoned yacht at the weekend off the coast of southern Philippines. So he died and then left the yacht? No?

I remember getting back from overseas and someone saying to my dad, "You had quite an adventure!"
Dad gave him that "dad look" and said "not at all. Adventures mean someone was not planning."

I got issues with this.
I live on a sailboat myself. It is usually very humid below decks even in the dry season.
I don’t see him drying out like that, unless he drifted from Alaska or something and mummified there.

The story says he was dead “more than 4 days”. How about 4 years?
