What happens if a person only votes once, for the candidate, but leaves the delegates an open question? Or votes for the candidate and then messes up and votes for the incorrect delegate slate?

The candidate vote goes towards the popular vote, but not the one that really counts - the delegate vote.

If you miss voting in one area, when you insert your ballot into the ballot counting machine it beeps incessantly and displays that you did not vote in one race. Do you want to get your ballot back and check it again?

At this point, you have to click yes or no. If you push yes that you want to check it, you get your ballot back to correct. If you push no, then the machine takes your ballot and counts it, as is.

It’s really very easy.
