It has now been nearly four weeks since Donald Trump said he would reveal his foreign policy advisers in about two weeks, and no list of advisers has materialized. When pressed about the topic during Thursday nights Republican presidential debate, Trump named three people who he said he trusted for foreign policy advice but it appears the individuals he named are not on the same page as The Donald.
As Trump has repeatedly made big claims about steps he would take in the realm of foreign policy, he has spent months deflecting questions about who is advising him. He has occasionally put out one or two names but has largely said I watch the shows when asked where he gets information about world affairs. On Thursday, Trump reassured the Fox News debate moderators that he would get the best people, people that Id be comfortable with.
I think Richard Haass is excellent. I have a lot of respect for him. I think General Keane is excellent, Trump said during the debate. I think that there are I like Colonel Jacobs very much. I see him. I know him. I have many people that I think are really excellent but in the end it's going to be my decision.
So who are these three men?

He’s not saying they ARE advising him. They’re on a list...
It is NO news. Trump never said the three he ‘respected’ were his advisers.
Wow...NO ONE in history has had his words twisted and taken out of context like Trump.
Frankly, that’s probably a good thing. I can’t think of very many “Republicans” from whom I’d actually take advice.
By and large, that party is a party of appeasement, cowardice and capitulation. It’s leaders are go-along get-along simps whose primary interests are furthering their own second-tier power and figuring what lies to tell their constituents every 2,4, or 6 years.
I’d say they need a pair of balls, but that would necessitate some framework - a SPINE! - from which to hang them.
Haass twitted that he briefed Trump.
This article is just a lame hit piece.
...as compared to mooslim communist faggots advising soetoro?
Trump being vague, indefinite, and unclear????
Say it isn't so!!!
The RAND Corp faxed the list to Megyn, but she ignored it.

Haas on board is not particularly exciting.
Talk about a dull mediocre Establishment Foggy Bottom dweller.
Totally mainstream right down the middle.
He is or has been associated with the NY Times. He oversaw their first foreign policy reader forum ( ie comments) way back in the day, starting in ‘96 or so when there were not that many on the web.
“Haass himself tweeted during the GOP debate to distance himself from Trump and clarify his involvement or lack thereof in the front-runners foreign policy.”
This is GOOD NEWS! Alex Jones was worried that Donald Trump had gone over the the dark side! ;-) Ted Cruz is not the only candidate endorsed by a CFR member. As a natural born Canadian, Ted Cruz is perfect to be the first President of the North American Union!
What it is is a lie of a title made to hurt Trump.
He has not claimed they are his advisors and this is made to make Trump look like he lied.
But go ahead a squeeze as much hate with stupid crap like this article if it makes ya feel good.
It is unbelievable. Once you start reading this pap, you see that the title is made knowing people aren’t going to read the content which does not say what the title claims.
Until Donald is the obvious winner, I suspect most people will not be publicly associated with him. Assuming we reach that point, he will have to reject many.
IOW Trump has no advisors, contrary to his claims.
It is long overdue for advisers from somewhere get him up to speed on foreign policy. I appreciate his big picture view, but the needs to start seriously talking about foreign policy as if he actually has some understanding of it.
Putin is not our friend. He is using the mass migration crisis to weaken Europe and NATO.
Just a decade ago, could anyone imagine that Muslims would be in a position to collapse Sweden?
Oh, I don’t know about that, AuntB. Read some of the anti-Cruz statements here. Or, anti-Rubio for that matter. Not that I’m a Rubio fan, I just like accuracy.
And, this “story” doesn’t seem to be very accurate.
Trump will be the nominee. Prepare to fight Hillary.
So, the answer to this is: even if Trump has no advisors now, that is better than having Sidney Blumenthal.
I was referring to the GOP/Media.
Yes, and I sort of lumped it all into one big ball of commentary. The anti-Cruz comments/stories are equally horrendous. They just don’t spend as much time on Cruz because he’s not nearly as entertaining from their point of view.
And, a happy Sunday to you.
