I quit updating my laptop after an update to 10 killed my internet connectivity and I had to roll back to a restore point. I’ve decided to not update my desktop - I’ll stick with 7.

Most of the critical computers I have that must run some legacy software is quite solidly centred on WinXP, so congratulations on your being able to run something as recent as Win7. Good luck, and mind those ‘background updates’ that continue to attempt to convert you to Win10 whether you wish to or not. Mind the “upgrades” now! :)

The Win10 updates borked my video editing software on Win7. I disabled updates and blocked Microsoft at the router.

My desktop stays at 7. My laptop is at 10 and hasn’t had a screw-up yet. Other than the 8.1 it came with.

I wish I could get hold of Win 7...I’m stuck with Win 10 and I hate it.
