A. Indeterminate-range gunshot entrance wound of the posterior left shoulder.
B. Back-to-front, left-to-right gunshot wound path perforating the deltoid muscle.
C. Gunshot exit defect of the anterior left shoulder.
II. GUNSHOT WOUND OF THE LEFT UPPER BACK AND CHEST:
A. Indeterminate-range gunshot entrance wound of the left upper back.
B. Back-to-front, right-to-left, slightly downward gunshot wound path with:
1. Perforating fracture of the posterior left 3rd rib.
2. Perforation of the upper lobe of the left lung.
3. Perforating fracture of the anterior left 4th rib.
C. Gunshot exit defect above and medial to left nipple.
III. GUNSHOT WOUND OF THE RIGHT LOWER BACK, ABDOMEN AND CHEST:
A. Indeterminate-range gunshot entrance wound of the right lower back.
B. Right-to-left, back-to-front, upward gunshot wound path with:
1. Perforation of the posterior right 10th intercostal space.
2. Laceration of the lower lobe of the right lung.
3. Perforation of the diaphragm.
4. Perforation and pulpefaction of the upper right kidney.
5. Perforation of the hepatic flexure of the colon.
6. Perforation of the liver.
7. Perforation of the diaphragm.
8. Perforation of the pericardial sac.
9. Perforation of the right ventricle of the heart.
10. Laceration of the lingula of the left lung.
11. Perforation of the anterior left 4th intercostal space and fracture of the left 5th rib.
C. Gunshot exit defect below and medial to left nipple.
The shooters were not shooting in fear of a drawn weapon, as they were shooting from rifle positions at a distance (no threat if a handgun was produced, by an average shooter, even an expert shooter).

But there were LEO’s near him who would have been threatened. One big reason they probably didn’t shoot was they didn’t have a clear line beyond the target.
There is a new video filmed from in the truck. The truck was shot at before it stopped. Lavoy gets out with his hands up and the minute he opens the door he is shot at repeatedly. Worst of the worst for 10 minutes the Oregon Police and FBI continue to shoot at the people in the truck. Murder plain and simple. Disgusting and evil is the only way to describe people praying to God for safety and being shot at repeatedly. If there was ever a group of law enforcement that needs to be prosecuted and sent to jail its this bunch. Incredible they are getting away with this. There is a link to the video on Martin Armstrong’s web site. It coordinates the time and superimposes both the FBI drone video and the camera with audio from Finicum’s truck. They knew exactly who was in the vehicle and they were trying to kill them. If they had we never would have seen Shawna Cox’s video.
All exit wounds are in the upper left chest (1) or the anterior left chest in the vicinity of the nipple (2), Where LaVoy was reaching when they said he was reaching for a weapon.
Side with the benefit of the doubt with the police in most situations. Not this one. The video shows a guy trying to walk in deep snow above his knees, and stumbling. He came out with his hands up. His hands went down briefly when he lost his footing or went deeper. They are going to have to prove he went for a gun. And would suspect that this is why there is a criminal investigation of the FBI officers involved, not to mention Oregon state troopers and/or snipers. Will wait for the inquest to complete. The video is pretty damning, which is why it came out so quickly. Quite a piece of work for the occupant to have recorded the events and getting it uploaded, since they must have seized her phone.
Going to watch the video again, and count the shots into the occupied SUV as well as the ones fired at Mr. Finicum.
You saw a guy reach toward two exit wounds before the third and fatal shot hit him in the back. Those rounds came out the left shoulder or the front of the left chest.
Mr. Finicum was high-strung, as evidenced in a prior video when they took down remote cameras from powerpoles, which are used all over the west on remote stretches of power lines, to monitor line failure/fuse blown events. Commonly known these cameras monitor lines, yet Mr. Finicum in particular is shown saying “they are spy cameras”.
And this would explain the high speed run. But he did not have to be killed- his truck was already stopped in deep snow, and he was just one guy. Stop sticks would have shut down the run, not a dead man road block.
Cross draw holster? Pretty unusual. Would someone have been so crooked as to have a “throwdown” to claim was on the man? There’s a video and blog report that he did not take his firearm with him,which this might confirm.
Could be but this is a guy who told the media earlier that he'd rather die than go to jail. It's also a guy who repeatedly told the LEO's involved that they would have to shoot him.

No they won't. In that situation, which Finicum created, they only have to claim that they believed he was going for a gun. The courts (up to SCOTUS) have ruled repeatedly that you have to consider the danger of the situation, the fact that events happen very quickly, and what a reasonable LEO would do in that situation with only one chance to get it right.
The standard isn't the comfort of a computer chair with plenty of time to consider the environment and the unfolding of events while replaying multiple videos over and over again.
And a liter of fluid and clotted blood in the left hemithorax, result from the 2nd shot, from high to low-back to front, perforating the left upper lobe of lung.
Get hit first in shoulder then 2nd one doing the damage as listed above, exiting above and medial to left nipple... and you damn sure would instinctively reach hand up to the chest to the lung which is now deflated and filling with blood.
It's murder.
