To be a success as a “fortune teller,” you mostly need to understand people, listen to them, and feed back what you learn.

So true. It also depends on the age, brains and maturity of the person's whose fortune is being "told." It IS all a con.

I once read a book on the origin of the "fortune tellers." Mostly they were Indians who migrated west to Europe. Things aren't always good in India.
