Horowitz: Trump Donated to Queen of Sanctuary Cities, Kamala Harris
Conservative Review ^ | 3/15/2016 | Daniel Horowitz

...

Donald Trump donated thousands of dollars to extreme leftists in California, such as Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom. But that was last decade, which was part of the “ancient” history before Trump’s cathartic conversion. More recently, while conservatives were fighting the Gang of Eight amnesty bill and Obama’s sanctuary nation policies, Trump donated $6,000 to Kamala Harris, the California attorney general who is, perhaps, one of the most notorious supporters of sanctuary cities in the country. In 2014, his daughter, Ivanka, also cut a $2,000 check to the queen of sanctuary cities. That was after Harris championed the despicable Trust Act, which turned the entire state of California into a sanctuary for illegals. Coupled with her activities during her first term as attorney general and her prior work as San Francisco district attorney, Harris is one of the leftists most responsible for the policies that led to the murder of Kate Steinle.

According to Fox News, Harris told local officials in 2012 they were not required to cooperate with ICE. And that was prior to passage of the Trust Act:

In 2012, California Attorney General Kamala Harris said local law enforcement are not required to determine immigration status or enforce federal immigration laws. She also said civil immigration detainers — ICE requests to hold a suspect — are voluntary. The entire state also operates under the Trust Act, which allows illegal immigrants charged with minor crimes to be released after posting bail or serving time.

Yet, Donald Trump, who doesn’t even live in California, found a need to contribute to this woman DESPITE her years of activism on behalf of sanctuary cities.

A rationalization can be found for just about anything. And I have heard reason upon reason from Trumpetarians giving him a pass in so many areas, so I’m not surprised.

“He donated to liberals and republicans, even Ted Cruz....for the zillionth time!

He’d be poor like us if as a businessman he refused to do business with half the country!”

That’s why I’m voting for George Soros for President! He’s richer than Trump, prettier, and he buys off politicians better!

When Trump is elected we will see if he means what he says.

But he is the only candidate actually saying what needs to be said!

If it weren't for Trump, the global agenda wouldn't even be an issue, since all of the rest of the candidates agree with it!

Was it actually Trump or a representative of one of his satellite companies?

And Trump didn't create any hostile environment!

His rallies have excitement, which is something Cruz would know nothing about;

Sure it can, like Cruz voting for giving Obama fast track authority and then being shocked that Obama lied about what was in it!

“He is an elite sanctimonious power-luster determined to win at all costs, with money from all of those he pretends to spurn. “

Yes, Ted is the Devil, Lucifer, a dupe of Goldman Sacs, a Canadian Globalist, a liar, a cheater, slimy, sleazy, the worst human EVER, he beats his wife and kids (with his wife and kids, who he uses as baseball bats), Beelzebub, his wife a succubus, his children harpies, a Cuban atheist who promotes the abortion of all children.

Whew, I was almost running out of insane things to call Cruz. But I’m sure you have more.

100% false.

Overcoming denial is the first step to overcoming an addiction. You are still on Step 1.

Beyond that you are trying to spin lyin Ted out of his statement against the 1st amendment. He’s toast.

I think what happened in Weekhawken is that he passed a rumor of incest between father and daughter. Not nice and he paid a heavy price.

Apparently, you are not familiar with the 1st Amendment. Do you not know who is restricted from certain actions by the 1st Amendment? NOTE: It ain’t citizens.

Also, you are apparently not familiar with Cruz’ actual statement, as opposed to the Trumpbot false version, which you appear to have memorized.

I sure got a lot of criticism this week on here for confessing my endorsement of Kasich. I admit that one big reason why I did so was because I just don’t trust Donald Trump to put America first. My prediction is that Trump will win the GOP nomination and that he will go on to be elected President. Then on Jan 20, 2013 he will take the oath of office. And its anyone’s guess whether or not he will take the words “I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” sincerely seriously or not.

Correction: Jan 20, 2017

And he better do it in front of the “National Chicken Coop” or else I will already have lost some trust in him. I remember a speech he gave (with me in the same auditorium) where he promised that the scaffolding around the US Capitol building would not come down for the Inauguration and then back up afterwards. In his speech he called it a waste of money and that he wouldn’t stand for it happening for his inauguration.
