If you want to improve the Kitchen on your house, you must pay a bribe called a building permit to the county building inspector. Without paying that bribe (building permit), you can’t build that kitchen island, install the required plumbing, set the cabinets and lay countertops. Try it without a permit and watch the leftist scum in the county come down on you like a ton of bricks.

Yeah, and they are a pain in the butt. My neighbor wanted to build a gazebo but had to get a permit to do that. Then, they(city) change their minds about how things should be built. I know someone who was going to build a new company building. They talked to the powers that be and when they got their ok, they looked at the papers. Those nuts had put trees right in front of the bay doors. No way to open them. It cost them thousands of dollars to get it changed. Shake down artists. God bless anyone who has to deal with them.
