This was only done so they could turn around with statistics showing 'assault weapons' were purchased in the US and ended up in Cartel hands, used in committing crimes. There had been a lot of braying about how firearms which originated in the US were used in crimes in Mexico, but the numbers didn't add up. This was an attempt by the DOJ and BATFE to 'fix' their numbers problem for the express purpose of infringing on the 2nd Amendment Rights of American Citizens.

As such, and being organized, it is in effect a conspiracy to deprive Americans of a fundamental Civil Right, performed under color of Law.

All the persons from the DOJ, BATFE and any supporting organizations should be facing charges and Civil Suits.
