In five minutes of googling and I found a half dozen of the many promises from Republicans before the election of 2014 that if they were given the Senate they would REPEAL OBAMACARE.

In the Christian Post, Ted Cruz is quoted as saying, "Now That We Have Won, Republicans Will Push to Repeal Obamacare Even if President Obama Vetoes Legislation", Says Senator Ted Cruz

Reince Priebus: "the GOP has 'total unanimity' on getting rid of Obamacare," Priebus said. Aug 11 2013 (Newsmax.com)

"We will uphold our promise to the American people and vote to repeal President Obama’s broken health care law." Nov 14 2015 - Senator Daines (from Breitbart.com)

Before the 2014 election, “Republicans are ready with legislation to repeal Obamacare and increase Tennesseans’ options for care.” Lamar Alexander Oct 1 2014 (alexander.senate.gov)

"[T]he best interests of the country would be achieved by pulling out ObamaCare root and branch," McConnell said in a debate with Alison Lundergan Grimes, the Democratic candidate for Senate. October 14, 2016 (various)

"The Republicans' two most senior leaders [Boehner, McConnell] pledged on Wednesday to repeal Obamacare." November 6, 2014, (from the UK Daily Mail)

Republican bosses: "We WILL repeal Obamacare. McConnell and Boehner promise showdown with White House over lame duck president's key policy" November 6, 2014 - (from the Wall Street Journal)

"Every new GOP senator who won in last night’s election campaigned on repealing Obamacare. 100% of Newly Elected GOP Senators Campaigned on Repealing Obamacare"

-Sean Hannity quoted in the CNSNews.com, November 5, 2014

I encourage each of you to Google yourself, or use your favorite search engine. Enter one of the MANY Republican promises (lies) that they made in 2014 and did keep.

Ha Ha. That’s funny. GOPe Republicans LOVE Obamacare. GOP big donors love socialized medicine because it gets health care off their books.

Hey Ted...You better look around and make sure we hold the Senate.

You and Rubio haven't even showed up most of the time but still collected that nice little check.

Cruz sincerely tried to shrink/repeal/stop Obamacare, and the GOP establishment sincerely tried to stop Cruz. The establishment won, but I don’t blame Cruz for that.

Paul Ryno and Mitch won’t be helping. They will have to be gone to get rid of 0Care.

How many years have we heard that while they continue to fund it!

Ducks fart under water too!

It depends...if Cruz manages to hand the nomination to the GOPe, which he seems OBSESSED with doing...and Hillary, of course, becomes the next president, then I SERIOUSLY DOUBT that Obamacare, or anything else liberal will be at risk.

Now if Trump wins, Obamacare FINALLY ENDS.

Why does he and the rest of the GOPee keep lying like that? Do they really believe we’ll fall for it again? So they don’t think they have the votes to repeal it. OK, just don’t fund it. They’ve had six years to not fund it. They couldn’t even do that. Now things are going to be different? They are going to repeal it? Does he think we’ve got battered wife syndrome?

I have no doubt that Trump will force repeal and replacement of Obamacare. GIven Cruz’s ineffective history of passing legislation if he becomes President I wouldn’t be surprised if the Senate Republicans pass a bill renaming it Cruzcare and let him sink with it.

Cruz’ failure (and failure of the GOPe to govern) set the stage for the advent of Donald J. Trump and the anger of the rank-and-file Republicans.

Which single Senator filibustered the budget and shut down the government in order to get Republicans to stand by their pledge to cut off funding for 0bamaCare?

The November 2014 elections were the line in the sand for me, to demonstrate whether there was an opposition party or not. That question has now been thoroughly answered. The Repubs have full bore adopted the same voting bloc pandering technique the Demos have been using for decades, with the same sort of dreadful results for the constituency. The quicker people wake up to that sorry game, the better.

Ted Cruz hasn’t accomplished a goddamned thing in DC.

All talk, no action, and he can’t win.

HE IS A LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHRILLARY! looks like she’s about to keel over, the communist DNC will toss her and put up Biden/Sanders and make mincemeat out of the Canadian/Mormon fellow traveler.

Neil Bush is an effin criminal and part of the Cruz campaign.

Hey Ted you and your fellow Republicans said this back in 2013.

You said if Republicans won both the House and the Senate you would stop Obama and Obamacare.

You did not do it?

What’s your excuse this time?

I am going to send them a copy of this thread.
