A crazy faux religious sociopathic lying narcissist...

A more accurate description of Cruz: A slightly-too-preachy constitutional conservative now facing an unproven allegation denied by every named party....who is trailing behind a thin-skinned long-time supporter of democratic causes.

I didn’t trade my life or limbs, but what little risk I subjected them to was traded for about $4.5K a month, counting base pay, housing, etc. It was tax free, and I got free room and board plus medical and dental.

That’s one way to answer that. You could also say it was fulfilling a duty, patriotism or just plain not letting the man to your left and right down.

As to what geopolitical or national interests our blood, national resolve and treasure were expended on, that’s a whole ‘nother ball of wax, but I don’t recall the Jihadists signing a surrender on the deck of a battleship after their cities were leveled, armies defeated and nations strangled economically and militarily, so against that WWII gold standard, I say we didn’t get enough.

superficial analysis, but it seems that Ted Cruz has many of the same psychological pathologies as Obama - narcissism, lack of empathy, poor socialization, tendency to lie to maintain his persona - which stem from father abandonment issues, early life insecurities and lack of mature parenting.

A pretty good analysis. Though throw in some Asperger’s because he lacks social skills, doesn’t pick up social cues. Some narcissists are great at it, use it to use people better. Cruz doesn’t even sense, in front of the cameras, that his daughter isn’t in the mood for a kiss.

So I listened. I listened to his speeches. Immediately my mind flashed back some 45 years earlier...where did I hear that tone and cadence? That’s right Marjoe Gortner! From then on all I could here was Marjoe on the stage shaking his fist and calling out the demons and selling prayer clothes on the side.

Hallelujah!

We have three choices a “Conservative” guy who voted for TPA, Corker, 4 times H1-B visas and AMNESTY yea!, Hillary and Donald Trump.
Donald says the right things and he has PRIDE, something the other two completely lack.
So, you vote for the conservative sociopath liar while i vote for the guy that wants to save his country.

Well, I think there’s valid arguments to be made either way.

There is certainly a difference between volunteering for service and being drafted into a war.

Especially a war that America wasn’t trying to win.

Just going to leave World War II out all together, because that really was an heroic national effort, and that is something that all men should have supported, live or die. I know I would have.

But it seems like America lost something after that. Got bogged down in a whole bunch of BS that make no sense at all, and we are still there.

Country does not know the purpose of war or how to win a war, or even why to win a war. And all we have are a bunch of ahole politicians playing games with people’s lives in order to advance themselves.

If someone doesn’t want to participate in a draft under such circumstances, I can’t really blame them.

I don’t even trust my own country’s motivations or ideals any more.

I have no idea what this country stands for or what values it tries to impart to others.

As far as I can tell the motto of this country should be In lies We Trust, and that is real damn disheartening.

Trump had a draft number in the 300’s. (Mine was 359.)

Having a high draft number is not “draft dodging.”

You are a slanderer, like Bush sock-puppet Cruz.

They were sent over there to destabilize the Middle East and to initiate the biggest slaughter of Christians in decades.

Once the Bush/Clinton/Obama cabal—who are puppets of Soros/the banks/Muslim Brotherhood/Saudis—have cleaned out the Christians from the Middle East, they will go to work in earnest on Europe and North America.

Trump’s kids are crazy about him.

Cruz’s kids squirm and recoil from him.

People throw “narcissist” around a lot with regard to Trump.

But even his ex-wives are on good terms with him. And his kids are absolutely nuts about him.

If he’s a narcissist, he doesn’t seem to be a malignant narcissist.

Cruz’s kids recoil from him. And Cruz has bragged about spanking them. (I think he thinks this is “Christian” or “biblical.”)

Narcissism is one of the hardest disorders to cure because of the complete nature of narcissism itself.

I always say, "Narcissism has a bad name."

Americans have killed 58 million of their own babies.

In Germany, the killing of Jews and others was SECRET, located OUT OF THE COUNTRY, and conducted by a few thousand SS men.

In America, the killing of 58 million babies has been done by about 55 million women, with the collaboration, in most cases, from another 55 million men.

The Germans of 1939 or the Americans of 1970-2016: Who is morally more reprehensible and damnable?

It’s tough for me to take any of these “draft dodger” charges seriously.

My dad was in Vietnam, and he really shocked me when he told me, based on his experience with the American military, he would fully support and aid any of his sons that chose to resist being drafted.

Aside from the fact we haven’t been in an existential conflict since WW2, he believed our military was such a clusterf**k that he couldn’t, in good conscience, advocate a young man placing his life in their hands.

Now I’ve never been in the military, so I can’t render such an opinion myself. But when a guy with the record of service and accomplishment that my dad had says such things, I can not cavalierly dismiss them.

"People don't really change much from the ages of 17 and 18". Is this true?

When I was in college I ran into an alumnus of the same place who told me that people do change after high school but not at all after college.

At least the first part of this is definitely true.

Especially now, when American foreign policy’s primary goal is the slaughter of Christians and the establishment of the caliphate—to rule over the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

Planeloads of Muslim warriors are arriving nightly on the East and West coasts, and the Muslims are being distributed around the U.S.

Obama MUST give them the order to strike sometime in the next few months.

Especially since Trump’s draft number was well over 300.

I notice that Cruz and the Cruzbots just LOVE to omit relevant facts.

The lie that turned me off Cruz was when he turned Trump’s promise that the absolutely destitute would not be allowed to “die in the streets” into: “Donald Trump supports socialized single-payer healthcare for all Americans.”

I’ve had exchanges with two Cruzbots about this. Neither one of them would answer this question: “How does ‘I won’t let the destitute die in the street’ translate to “single-payer socialize healthcare for all Americans’?” One of them simply called me Satanic, repeatedly. The other one wrote a dozen or so posts claiming that I had misused the word “socialist” and therefore am too ignorant to have any discussion with. He never even acknowledged that I was asking him a question, which I did over and over.

Andrew Klavan, Ben Shapiro, and Cruz’s Slappy-in-Chief Steve Deace have been repeating that lie daily for weeks and weeks. I heard Ken Blackwell LEAD with that lie when Deace asked him Thursday night to tell the audience just how evil Trump is.

The other day Tucker Carlson noted that many Repubs have called Trump Hitler. He said (paraphrasing), You just don’t retract that. Once you’ve called someone Hitler you don’t get to retract that. No one who has called Trump Hitler is going to have any role or any influence in a Trump administration. These people have all crossed a Rubicon.

Too true! I got onto one Cruzlim awhile back for "special pleading" and the yokel indignantly writes back that he isn't pleading to anybody :o)

I heard Trump battled ferociously in Vietnam...no...wait..

So if you’re a draft dodger around that age, is that what you are the rest of your life?

LOL! How long did you serve? Do you know the circumstances that "made him a draft dodger"? Do you know what his draft lottery number was?

I'm guessing you don't know crap about it except from what some others have opined, but that won't stop you from calling untrue crap the "Gospel Honest Truth".....

For me, 18 was nearly 4 decades ago. Am I the same person I was then? Yes and no.

I don’t think my worldview, loyalties or morals are any different. This is actually a good thing as it shows that I wasn’t entirely stupid at that age.

However, I am much less: trusting, rash, and crude.

I am much more: careful, thoughtful, patient (except when someone is clearly trying to BS me), skeptical, and prepared. I am also more paranoid (which helps me be careful).

I went to the effort of going to each of the links that you provided and reading them all.

Except that the first link was broken... it says, “No Results Ooops! I’ve got nothing for you.” The first link that you provide is the most important... and you didn’t even bother to check that it worked.

The second is one from Glenn Beck’s The Blaze about a “British News Anchor” who claims Trump “stalked” her after she claimed she made an unflattering “documentary” 20 years ago which was never aired and it is unclear if her interviews were ever even edited into an actual finished product. This is not a friend who turned on him just a pathetic media wanna-be trying to get attention for stuff she taped but wasn’t able to sell.

The third doesn’t even claim to have actually even met Trump; it is just a rambling hate piece.

The fourth is about lawsuits that have been file... no mention of any actual acquaintances.

You wasted my time. I assumed that you were sincere. None of the links you provided have anything to do with the subject we were discussing. You don’t even have one link that backs up what you posted. Not one! That is pretty pathetic even for someone making posts that appear to have come from a seminar troll. Well it doesn’t matter. We are watching Ted Cruz’s campaign continue to unravel this morning. I feel sorry for the good people who were sincerely taken in by this scoundrel.
