Sorry but its looking bad for your guy. Nobody would care if he hadn’t portrayed himself as an ardent, upstanding Christian. People hate hypocrisy. The coming “I have sinned” routine will not save his political career.

It’s “looking so bad” for my guy that he’s up in the polls. Let me e-mail him and warn him not to get into too many more “scandals” or he’ll land in the White House!

Well, you'd think, but it seems that a lot of people:

1) Still don't care if he had multiple affairs.

2) Are in complete denial that he could've had any.

Well, the fact that he wouldn't answer that simple question from that British reporter about his affairs says all that you need to know. If he had pulled that stunt with Judge Judy, she would've eaten him alive. Innocent people are not evasive.

What if there's a televised Jimmy Swaggert-type confession?

No it won't, if the allegations are true. If the allegations are false, everyone who spread them will have wronged that man.

You are in effect, gambling with another person's life for your own amusement. People should let him stand or fall for his own behavior, not try to condemn him in the court of public opinion.
