Come on. You are much too savvy to believe that long term this will help Cruz get elected. The real tragedy is that this free for all by fifteen people for the Republican nomination failed to produce a credible electable candidate. Yet this election is so critical for the country that eventually the righteous opposition to the degenerate Socialist Left will rally around a less than sterling candidate who has demonstrated the ability to attract Democrats, Independents and minorities to his side. Trump is deeply flawed and is currently experiencing a firestorm from the media and the Republican establishment. Will it consume him or harden him? Somehow IMHO he comes out of it better and intact and defeats Clinton in November.
