GOP & Democrat Establishments (Cruz & Clinton) Cheat Primary Voters

Posted on 04/11/2016 6:52:28 AM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

Simple void the votes of the people, make smokey, under the table, deals behind closed doors, with crooked politicians, bribes and threats and openly laugh at, and defy the choices of the American people. Folks...we are no longer a democracy....we join Russia, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, etc, and have become a Nazi, Facist or Communist party/country...because that is exactly what we are today. Ted Cruz & Hillary Clinton, the sleaze of humanity. That is all that needs to said about these two, who would eagerly rig any "Democrat" free election in any illegal manner and thereby cancel out the choice of the American voters.

IMHO....we should have only "winner take all" Primaries, no conventions, no caucuses, etc. Only the voters should choose our candidates without the interference of the political class, who cannot find their way to a bathroom, when need be!!!

Both Ted Cruz & Hillary Clinton, cheats & lie tellers they are, should be forced to withdraw from the current POTUS race...period. American voters....wake up...you are losing your freedoms by supporting either of these two shysters!!!

I simply want the American people, and, only the American People, to freely choose their choices for POTUS candidates....and, then choose which one should become out next POTUS

On November 19, 1863, Abraham Lincoln, in gving the Gettysburg Address stated this: "That we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain - that this nation - under God, shall have a new birth of FREEDOM - And, that the government "of the people", "by the people", "for the people" shall not perish from the earth!!! Folks get rid of Cruz & Clinton....these are not the leaders we need or want!!!

I just posted this elsewhere on FR:

From what I heard on the Willie Cunningham show last night, it is the GOP establishment in each state that decides how a delegate will vote. PERIOD

So why are we (the voters who are registered to vote in the primary/caucus in that particular state)- so why are we voting at all? Seems like it would save the states a lot of money if the Parties just chose the candidate.

And if all of the above is true ie what Cunningham said, then why didn’t Trump and Cruz tell us that? Surely they knew. All of the parties involved in the primary process knew even the media. And yet the media including Breitbart continues to refuse to talk about this. None are reporting this information Therefore, those interested in the primaries of each state are being deceived. I am sick of all of them.

The primary process is not a democracy. Never has been.

Before Wisconsin Trump had 47% of the delegates, but had garnered only 37% of the votes. Were 10% of primary voters disenfranchised of their votes?

The rules are the rules, whether they benefit your candidate, or work against him. Its up to each candidate to understand them and use them.

Cruz is an evil, evil man who at this point probably deserves the Rosenberg treatment.

I don’t consider Hitlerbeast to be “stealing” the primary from Slanders, though, because Slanders was always a fake candidate meant to trick certain voters into voting for Hitlerbeast.

Since when does the Electoral College apply to Primaries?

Real elections don’t work like that mock election you had in your sixth grade civics class — if you had one.

With the Democratic party the candidate picks the delegate. With the pubs the party picks. Almost all conventions go to a second ballot. As such with the pubs the voters are irrelevant. I have been a pub all my life and am going to leave. It is way to crooked.

In ILL-ANNOY we have an entrenched 'mutual butt covering' uni-Party called "The Combine". Incumbents from both parties are more interested in self-preservation and power than in the interests of the citizens. The state is a disaster.

The same thing is happening in the hallowed halls of establishment Washington. When Republicans finally figure out how to win elections, they can't figure out how to govern. The Democrats have perfected staying in charge even when they are not in charge. The Democrats define the Republicans, and the Republicans go into apology mode for simply being Republicans.

I am done with the establishment that would even contemplate handing the election to Hillary out of a false sense of holding to so-called principles. When I see people who identify as Republicans openly handing over the White House to Hillary, I can only think that since Hillary is part of the uni-Party "Combine", they think it is a better solution than a less-than-perfect but successful candidate.

No matter what Trump has said or done, pales in comparison to what McCain, McConnell, Graham, Boehner, Ryan, Kirk, and others in that group have been doing to this nation and to the Republican Party.

Trump is a symptom of the failure of the GOPe. They are doing whatever it takes - including voting for Hillary - to stomp out Trump while refusing to perform the necessary introspection (and house-cleaning) to figure out WHY Trump has been so successful.

Colorado shows what Cruz would be as President. Where is his outrage and disavowal?

If benefiting from disenfranchising voters is a conservative value now, there will be a lot fewer conservatives.

Illinois Sunshine weekly update: Massive turnout handed Trump an Illinois win

April 10, 2016

Republican Primary Wrap-Up
Massive Turnout Handed Trump an Illinois Win

Despite a lingering hope from the GOP establishment for a win in Illinois, Donald J. Trump swept the 2016 Illinois Primary Election with 38% of the Republican vote in a four-way race and an average vote share of 41%. A significant increase in Republican voter turnout accompanied his win this year, with vote totals up in 100 of 102 Illinois counties from the 2012 Primary Election. For comparison, only 59 counties saw an increase in Republican turnout from the 2008 Primary to 2012. The average increase in Republican votes from the 2012 Primary to present was 51% statewide.

Illinois Statewide Results

Trump won 39 of the 45 counties where there was more than a 60% increase in Republican votes cast from the 2012 Primary to present. In addition, Trump won all 29 counties that had over a 75% increase in Republican ballots cast from 2012 to 2016.

Cruz fared best where a majority of residents identify as members of the Church of Christ or other evangelical Christian organizations. Cruz won 18 of his total of 22 counties in this region. He also saw a very large margin of victory in McLean county, (42% of the GOP vote) where two significant Universities are located – Illinois State University and Illinois Wesleyan.

Trump won all 23 counties in southern Illinois that have a majority of residents who identify themselves as Southern Baptist. The closest race among these counties was in Jackson County, where SIU-Carbondale students likely helped tighten the race between Trump and Cruz to a margin of less than 3%.

Chicago Results

In Chicago, Trump saw much thinner margins of victory, and Kasich did quite well. If Rubio and Kasich voters had aligned, their combined 38.04% of the vote would have rivaled Trump’s overall 38.47% in the city. Despite protests and anti-Trump media buys, The Donald was still able to win the majority of Chicago wards. This was mostly due to a lack of Cruz support in Chicago, where he came in third after Trump and Kasich. In Chicago, Trump won 37 of 50 Wards, while Kasich won 12 and Cruz took only 1.

29 out of 50 Chicago wards saw GOP vote totals this year that were at least twice as high as the 2012 Primary. Of these 29 Wards, Trump won 21. In Wards 1-5, Kasich enjoyed 32-42% of the GOP vote, and turnout was exceptionally high. These Wards differ from each other, with Wards 1 and 2 having a majority of white residents (and including parts of River North and Gold Coast), and Wards 3-5 with over 60% African American population.

While Cruz was less successful in Chicago, his vote margin spread was the most consistent, with numbers ranging from 15-35% of the GOP vote. Kasich’s spread was the most extreme, and ranged from 3-47% in Chicago. Trump also saw a wide margin, with vote totals ranging from 21-58% of GOP voters.

I said some of on another thread:
We're back to the future ('08 and '12) as far as the GOP is concerned. We got tantalizingly close to true representation this time around, but the machine is hammering "We the People" back with a vengeance. They've taken the measure of Cruz, and properly judged him as a Junior Senator with an ego the size of Texas and messianic delusions fed to him by his father. He's no match for their manipulative capabilities; they've been practicing these skills for 50 years. The only man who's ever managed to successfully tangle with the GOP machine and (mostly) win battles was Reagan - and he was much older than Ted. I say "mostly" because the GOP did succeed in placing a millstone around the Reagan Revolution in the name of GHW Bush.

But back to our naive Junior Senator, who has convinced himself he can take on this same machine - by taking their money and advisers! With the help of the lunatic Glenn Beck! I almost feel sorry for him.

They'll never let him get the nomination; they've got much more sinister plans for this upstart.

As for Trump, we'll see. I wish to hell this tit-for-tat with the wives had never started. Trump shoots from the hip too much - maybe he's adjusting now. Is it too late? Don't know, but I think it's all for naught anyway.
Kasich? He's playing both ends. I think he's gunning for Veep. My opinion? He's angling to be on Ryan's ticket (Ryan: young; Kasich: experienced - see the balance?), because he knows the GOP machine, and knows the machine will NEVER let Cruz or Trump get the nomination.

“. . .On November 19, 1863, Abraham Lincoln. . .”

I find it humorous that Lincoln is quoted considering how Lincoln became President during a contested convention. He pretty much took delegates away from his competitor.
