Cruz is no leader. He is a lawyer.

Great quote and works for oh so many of our politicians today.

I supported Cruz early on but switched to Trump when I realized that Cruz has the wrong set of skills to be president and Trump does.

Cruz is a lawyer and a debater. He's good at talking. He's a senator, which is all they do is debate. His speeches comes across as too much lecture and preachy to me. But he has no executive decision-making experience or skills. These are key to being president. Being able to make decisions without all the information needed being available.

Trump, on the other hand, is used to making decisions and makes dozens of decisions or more a day in running his businesses. He knows how to get things done. He may not be as conservative as Cruz but he can draw a crowd like a rock star. And in politics, if those people can be attracted to the bright light, you can turn them into votes. He may not have the game of politics down as well and Cruz does but being a good politician is not necessarily an asset in this election cycle.

But the biggest reason I support Trump over Cruz is because I don't think Cruz has a chance against Hillary in the general. He comes across as too preachy and not likable. Trump is the only one I see who is ballsy enough to drop Hillary's pantsuit and show the country what her shortcomings really are.

Who do you think would draw the larger crowds and more voters in the general election? The dynamic, entertaining Trump or the dull, dreary, ex-wife screeching grandma Hillary? My money's on The Donald.
