Oddly enough, “they” scheduled this full moon as close as possible to ERF day to prove that frickin’ frackin’ is responsible for the possible erf quake due to glow bull warming causing the erf’s crust to expand because of the molten magma which algore tells us is millions of degrees right under our feet. Or something.
Actually, more like 12 and 7/19 full moons in a year and a similar number of new moons, for a total of almost 25 opportunities. New moons have even stronger tidal effects than full moons, and apogee new moons even more, and equinoctial even more. We had an historically close apogee full moon near the vernal equinox about a year ago. < crickets>
