I think the fact the Cubs now have a state-of-the-art clubhouse with decent areas for pitchers to warm up and a lot of physical therapy areas is why the team is playing a LOT better in 2016. A smart move they did was install special mood lighting to make players acclimate to start times at different times of the day, which helped resolved a huge problem with the Cubs in the past, namely their inability to play well at night games.
