You are really lying about that. When Reagan was elected, the abortion bill was already on his desk. He was told to sign it and he did. Abortion wasn’t on the radar like it has been now for 40 years. Reagan regretted signing that and wrote extensively about the issue. What you wrote about it is deceptive.

He was governor for six months, with ample time to review the legislation, and consider its consequences. He was TOLD? Is that leadership? It's nice that he regretted it after he later changed his views, as Trump has. Meanwhile the damage was done.

From a total of 518 legal abortions in California in 1967, the number of abortions soared to an annual average of 100,000 in the remaining years of Reagan’s two terms — more abortions than in any U.S. state prior to the advent of Roe v. Wade.

Bt I respect that Reagan changed his views, as has Donald J. Trump.
