Consider he bragged about having put the fundraiser together in 24 hours. Consider he put it together for the same scheduled date he was to face Meghan Kelly in a debate again after having made his bleeding remark.

He fled the field, and it wasn't the last time, just this time he used an unassailable cause, and created a conflicting event after the schedule was known, then claimed it wasn't out of cowardice. IMHO, he hid behind wounded vets. I hope they collect all of the money donated/pledged, and that would be the other good thing to come out of it.
