BOULDER, Colo. -- Dynel Lane gets 100-year prison sentence for attacking a pregnant Longmont woman, cutting baby from her womb.

Boulder County prosecutors were seeking a 126-year prison sentence for the woman who faked her pregnancy, then attacked a pregnant Longmont woman, cutting the unborn baby from her womb.

That can’t be right.

Cutting a fetus from a womb is done everyday.

Did he charge the usual fee of $700?

Thanks for posting this, I remember this crime and I’m glad to see the perp pulled a long sentence. I’ll leave for another time how intellectually annoying it is that baby Aurora’s life is not recognized de jure by the people of the great state of Colorado; but I will say that it’s emotionally gratifying to see that in this particular case those involved seem to have done their best de facto to mete out justice on her behalf.

Im shocked the media identified this precious human being as a baby, meanwhile Planned Parenthood does this on a daily basis why are they not charged with anything?

The baby, later named Aurora, did not survive outside the womb. Lane was not charged with murder in the baby's death because of Colorado law.

That is some f'd up law!
