“I see this weird 7 Mountain thing as very sideways and dangerous. It’s only my opinion of course.”

It is not just your opinion. Many share your assessment. I am one of them.

“Hmmm, I wonder. Did Jesus “wear his Christianity on his sleeve”? Did he not say as the Father sent Him, so He sends us?”

You do realize this is Christ Himself you’re speaking of...? He wasn’t “a Christian”. He IS Christianity in the flesh so it’s a little, bit different. We follow Him. He didn’t have a need to follow Himself. Get it?

"Cruz gives off a creepy vibe, and the people around him give off a creepy vibe, and yeah, some of them appear to behave in a cult like manner.

The same could be said for Trump and some Trump supporters.

What a God complex! Didn’t read article, mini paragraph is enough to know. What? Does your god put a stripe down ones back so you can tell, or would you have us believe you are all knowing? Get out of religion and get Jesus.

Not that it is relevant to this discussion, really, but I’m a Trump supporter and don’t really care for Cruz. But unlike many around here, I actually think for myself and don’t follow the herd so to speak.

Institutional corruption is maybe THE biggest problem in our country. Ferreting the corruption out by engaged, intelligent, and caring Christians is EXACTLY what needs to happen.

The message in this article advances the decline of America.

I have been noticing this too. They seem to be in some kind of spiritual trap. I voted for Cruz in the primary but my commitment is always for the eventual nominee. I don’t get caught up in these crazy fights.

Pastor G. Craig Lewis of EX-Ministries, which describes itself as an organization designed to expose false doctrines and other deceptive attacks against biblical Christianity, takes on the Cruz cult.

This is the kind of crap that gives FR a bad name...........

You have been fooled by him as many of us were.

What he is is a career politician insider who smartly ran against those that he is clearly part of in order to advance himself personally.

He exploited anti establishment sentiment knowing all along that he is of the establishment.

He is a person whose words paint him as something other than what he is, but his actions clearly reveal him.

He is no different than every other Republican. He pretends he is against those whom he is actually for in order to enrich and advance himself.

That’s what they do, that’s what he does, and we fall for it almost 100% of the time.

Look at the great many times he has helped people and never said a word about it. Over and over throughout his life, he has done good works. Look at his children. Do you see druggies, or obnoxious persons like the Hollywood elites so admired by many. Trump is a pure American at heart and that is good enough for me. All other “labels” are worthless.

No, I don’t believe it can, not honestly.

Trump isn’t creepy, and neither are his supporters.

It’s very clear why so many Americans are for him.

We have had enough.

Google is your friend. All quotes indicating that these people think Cruz is “showing the face of God” or is anointed of God to become president are out there for all to find.

Because I don’t have time to do that. A person making an argument should be able to support the argument.

Try doing this stingray: The next time you go into a business meeting, make an argument and someone asks you for evidence supporting your argument, try saying “Google it”. Your credibility in that organization will be shot.

I looked into this 'Seven Mountain Strategy'.

It seems like something Christian conservatives should have been doing decades ago. It's something Christian conservatives were doing hundreds of years ago without calling it by that name.

Why would we not want to make a point of having Christian conservative ideas dominate in all aspects of society? Why would we want to give over the schools or the media or churches or business to secular hedonists and liberal multiculturalists?

The conservative mantra was focus on church, family, and business. Let the liberals take over the media and education, and just make sure that our children were home-schooled or sent to private Christian colleges and listened only to rightwing talk shows.

Well that didn't work out so well. The churches are going leftist and the colleges have turned out generations of secular liberals who have taken over the business community and government agencies who can now dictate much of how a family raises their children.

The Tea Party tried to take back the government, but the Tea Party is split between conservatives and libertarians with different agendas and priorities. Also, the establishment struck back and bought a lot of the Tea Party candidates with corporate lobbying dollars.

If the Seven Mountain Strategy is effected by true Christian conservatives then it should improve the situation in America.

If the Seven Mountain movement has been infiltrated by Goldman-Sachs and their evil minions, well then yes it will make things worse.

But if Goldman-Sachs has infiltrated the Seven Mountain Strategy, then they've probably infiltrated every conservative and every Christian movement and there is no hope of escape.

Then we just need to sit back and read our Kafka.

even if Ted himself isn't actually a believer in 7 Mountain Dominionism, there are many people around him, including his father, who are. These are views that are at least as lunatic as those of Obama's Rev. Wright, and will turn the American people - even most evangelicals - off faster than you can say "rapture".

Well said...and worth repeating!

” Does your god put a stripe down ones back so you can tell, or would you have us believe you are all knowing? Get out of religion and get Jesus.”

Help me out because your question is confusing. Are you asking ME if I think I’m all knowing? If so the answer is no, far from it.

I don’t think God (capital G by the way, not lower-case) doesn’t put stripes down backs of people like a skunk.

As for “religion”. I don’t have a religion but a personal belief that is only my business and yes, it includes Jesus first and foremost.

What I find interesting about posters like yourself is you accuse others of being judgemental while passing judgement yourself. Ironic, no?
