Although Trump said that he never asked God for forgiveness for anything, so how does that qualify him as a Christian in your opinion? Perhaps because he might go to a Church occasionally?

Wow, If you’ve studied Christianity’s birth then you know it impacted culture and gave it new life. Just not this buying this critique. Yes, I voted Trump.

Who is a Christian and who isn't is not our judgement call to make. There is only One that can make that call. However, I will point out that it took Paul (Saul) being struck blind on the road to Damascus before he turned from his wicked ways. Perhaps Trump will soon see his own "Come to Jesus" moment.

There's only one thing that qualifies one to be a Christian: Jesus Christ.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved Romans 10:13.

Man, not God, tries to add rules to the grace of Christ, but doing so brings a double curse as "another gospel" (Gal 1:6-9).

Look at the great many times he has helped people and never said a word about it. Over and over throughout his life, he has done good works. Look at his children. Do you see druggies, or obnoxious persons like the Hollywood elites so admired by many. Trump is a pure American at heart and that is good enough for me. All other “labels” are worthless.

I do not understand how christian a person is can be determined either by their church attendance or by a perception of that persons relationship with God. Donald Trump has said that he is a Christian. How can another say that he is not, simply based on their own religious beliefs and practices? He said he tries not to offend God in the first place. Meaning that he has a belief in God and has his own relationship with Him. We have a forgiving God and there are ways to repent and apologize to God that presuppose that He will accept our repentance. i.e. forgive.
