Thank you all so much for your prayers! I just heard from my sister and my Alyssa, is in the hospital now. A different one. They have cleaned the wound completely. They also stated, like a FReeper above posted, that the lump they saw was likely from the wound itself. She is on Percocet for the extreme pain, but I believe otherwise I think she will be ok. Again, 3rd party, but enough sounds good for now. They did not think there was ANY cancer. I honestly don’t know where they came up with that in the first place. Has our healthcare system deteriorated so severely that this is the type of care a 13 year old terrified child has to deal with. She spent the last 2 days thinking she was going to die. Well, God Is Good, and to him goes the Glory. I want to thank you all that responded whether it was a prayer or suggestions of treatment. I pray this situation has opened my nieces eyes to the fact that she has 3 growing children that need her care, love and attention. First and foremost. Again, Thank you ALL! BTW, I have decided that I will not reach out anymore to resolve the breach in relationship with my niece. She is a grown woman and if she does not have the common sense to take care of her own child when she needed her most, there is nothing I can do to help her. I’ll be here if she wants to try and mend the relationship, but she will have to come to me. I only Pray that this whole incident has opened her eyes to her life around her. As long as the kids are good, I’m good.
Praying that healing continues for her and your family. I am appalled at her treatment at the first hospital, glad that prayers were answered.
