It depends on how aggressive Google wants to be. They may sue just because she is a Republican.

Reminds me of Uzi Nissan, the man who owns: http://www.nissan.com

On the other had, Mike Rowe Software won its case against Microsoft, because Michael (Mike) Rowe had a business retailing software.

The other issue is that she is not in a commercial venture - she is running for office. Her name is enforced by election law - it is what will appear on the ballot.

I think that the trademark on the font is all that is in play here.

All true but as I said, it really depends on if Google wants to make an issue of it.

We find ourselves in violent agreement.

My guess is a cease and desist letter from their lawyers to the campaign. If I were Google I might even offer Googe a discount on Google advertising services.

Mike Rowe had to give up the specific domain mikerowesoft.com because it was too obviously a pun on Microsoft (even though Bill Gates was probably chuckling about it), but Microsoft settled with a settlement including giving Mike Rowe a discount on some software.

It will depend on what the actual name of the font is. If it is called “Google” or something else with their name in it, then she may have a problem. If not, she can tell Google to go pound sand.
